I place these beauties from the 20's - 30's based on the frames and the metal corner edge protectors on the back. I also think that the copper has been hand done, although I'm not an expert on the medium. They are definitely very old and very neat!
They would look great in a cabin setting or rustic decor.
The frames are thin wood...reminding me of cedar shakes/shingles. The back corners are covered with what appears to be hand done metal attached with tiny nails. The one top corner plate has been repaired with thumbtacks (which worked well as the corner is nice and secure). You'll see some nicks on the frames in the pictures, and the one picture of the wagon etc has a small green oxidizing spot (I'm surprised there isn't more actually). Both have a small spot of splintering on the bottom left corner of frame.
The wagon picture has hooks in the back with a string that has broke (easy fix to add wire or string as the hooks are there) and the panhandler one has hooks and wire in back. The one picture depicts pan handling at a stream and the other a covered wagon scene.
The copper has the look and patina of very old copper work. Photos don't do these pictures justice...can't capture the shades of colour, patina and feel of them. They are approx 24.5" x 18.5".
Be sure to check all the pictures as they are a part of the description. Etransfer secures sale for you.
